what a great concert !!

Had such a great time on Sunday, went to see KT Tunstall in Cambridge she was brilliant and so sweet, we so enjoyed it, she has an amazing voice she is so lovely to watch!!
Great news about the car now, it is on the road and working but we have given up on it and have ordered a new one. It's a Honda Jazz which should suit us just fine, will get that in a few weeks so will be able to use the car to go to Norwich to see Amy Mac in May really looking forward to that!!
Weather looking better today so I feel that spring has finally arrived. Will try and get back on here a little sooner maybe and try and catch up with all news.

well the car saga continues and I have had more than enough of now as I feel trapped as it's still not working even though we have paid out almost £1. 500 to get it fixed so will be buying a new one now I think .
Have got to take the dog for a walk she is giving me that sad look and has been waiting for an hour now but it looks like rain and am fed up with getting wet if only we could have a little more snow!! she loved it, trying to catch the snowballs and eating them, so I started to put little treats in them and it made it even more fun for her! better be of now then to get wet.

I meant to say a bit more than that but yes I failed to stick to the whole lent thing and stay off the booze and chocolate! I think it was the chocolate that did it for me first really, and I didn't think I would find it so difficult.So what I will try to do is leave the drinking till the weekend and have at least four days when I don't have any! but I think Ron will only manage one or two days!
Well the elusive mouse, Burt has still not materialised so now Libby had put chocolate spread in his humane trap to see if he falls for that, he had been in her clothes draw and left lots of wee and poo so she has been washing her clothes today and is getting determined to catch the little minx.
Half term holiday this week and it was good to come home from work today and have had the dog walked and lots of things done that I would have to do so I have had a nice easy day today thanks to Libby bless her!

not managed the lent

what to give up for lent?

I didn't make any New Years resalutions this year so I thought I might think about giving up something for lent but what?well I think just the obvious really like chocolate or booze or both, but it is for 6 weeks so I would have to be really strong if I were to do it. So today is the day to start and so far I have not had either yet.I really should think about doing at least one anyway as I could really do with losing a few pounds well half a stone really to be honest!! I think it is easier said than done though so I will do my best and keep you posted.
Off to the health spa in a short while Ron is at the pub, Birthday boy tomorrow so he had started to celebrate already! He will be watching the football later and Iam going to watch Lost that Libby has taken off her laptop so we are looking forward to that.

yes it's back!

thank god i've got the car back i can listen to radio 2, i had to suffer kiss fm in the radio in the escort as it was stuck there , not good. will be driving up to Norwich in it tomorrow so will see if it's working ok after that. Libby is really looking forward to the 'Blackout 'she is really excited and has loads to do today to get ready as her friends will be staying in her room and its a bit of a mess at the moment. She has got a mouse in there running around and leaving poos in her clothes so we have put a humane mouse trap in to catch it. She has named it Burt and said if we get it can she keep it but Dad said no!! We put it out last night but no luck yet, will keep you posted on the mouse saga.
